WYR: Who’s Your Daddy?

What’s Your Read?

Ginny has at least one thing in common with her best friend’s son: daddy issues. In Danny’s case, it’s more of a problem with identity. Even his birth mother hadn’t been sure who his father was. Ginny, on the other hand, can thank her old man for her iron stomach and the identity that she’d just as soon forget as the mortician’s daughter. However, when Danny is found brutally murdered, Ginny steps back into small hometown life where you’re never anyone other than who you were at 18.

Elizabeth Bloom’s heroine isn’t doing so well personally or professionally, but that doesn’t stop her from picking up the pieces of more than her own life in the midst of scandal, despite close-minded community movers and shakers, and while reacquainting herself with a high school sweetheart. Coming home isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.
