Two murders to solve. One ancient. One new. A whole cast of interesting characters that clearly have mucked up lives of their own and a long list of grievances, prejudices, and motives each. And where’s my charming (though quietly disturbing – ’cause, you know, murder) artists’ retreat? May I have one? Please?

I got started a little early on this one, and I’m pleased to say that at almost halfway through several of my theories have been soundly dashed. Just about everyone seems viable, and I’m in no way frustrated by that. Bring it, Erin Hart.

So excuse me, I’m heading back to the peat bogs of County Tipperary now. I’m really hoping that Cormac Macguire and Nora Gavin will figure out something about The Book of Killowen soon, because, for the love, I’d sure like to.
